Apple unveiled the iPad mini and iPad 4th generation models moments ago as of this writing, and Sprint has just announced to us in an e-mail that it will be carrying both models. The iPad mini and the iPad 4th generation model are LTE-capable devices, and they will both support Sprint's LTE network.
During Apple's announcement, a list of supported carriers all around the world showed that, in addition to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon will also be supporting the new iPad models. We'll just have to wait for those official announcements.
If you're a Sprint customer, this is exciting news. In the past, Sprint had always bundled iPad models with cases and mobile hotspots and modems. This time around, the new iPad mini and the iPad 4th generation will have built-in network capabilities so you can use Sprint's 4G LTE network with the new Apple tablets.
