Rockstar Games wants your input for 'Grand Theft Auto V'

3 hrs.

Rockstar Games put the call out to gamers Thursday asking Grand Theft Auto fans to submit ideas for the next installment?in the famed crime-ridden,?open-world, action-filled video game series.

Rockstar has been working on the highly anticipated "Grand Theft Auto V," which will be set in a fictional version of Southern California. The development company has not yet said when the game will launch or revealed much in the way of details?about it.??But posting on its official website Thursday, Rockstar representatives?asked players to submit ideas to be incorporated into?the multiplayer portion?of the game.

"As we're busy working on Grand Theft Auto V, we'd like to take this opportunity to ask all of you for your feedback, input and ideas for features you'd like to see created for Crews in the game," read the notice.

Crews, which first appeared as part of Rockstar's "Max Payne 3" game, are like clans and can be?created through?the company's?Social Club website. Currently, members can?form persistent teams for?competing?in "Max Payne 3." But?Rockstar says players will be able to carry those crews over to "Grand Theft Auto V" when it?launches.

"Whether it's suggestions for competitive in-game Crew features in Multiplayer, new ways to manage and recruit, ideas for enhancing Social Club Crew pages and leaderboards, things you did and didn't like about Crews in Max Payne 3, or any thoughts at all related to Crews really that you'd like to share???we're all ears," Rockstar told gamers. "We'd especially love to hear from current Crew members and leaders so that we can continue making our unique approach to persistent team based Multiplayer as fun as it can be in GTAV."

Rockstar asked gamers to email them?with ideas at:?GTAVCrewFeedback@rockstargames.com. And?players have already begun?posting suggestions on the company's?website.

Wrote a player going by the name?Socketz: "Car customization in regards that you can choose a crew car for free roam which will have either our crew logo on it or one that we have designed. Imagine your crew cruising in it!"

"I would actually like a base, a multiplayer base where your Crew can hang?out and the leader chooses where the hangout spot is located at,"?wrote?Henry_110.?"You can then customize it with your crew's Logo and have multiplayer sessions with only your crew."?

Overall, Rockstar's?request for input?was met with lots of?excitement from the many fans?who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of "Grand Theft Auto V."?But it also concerned some fans.

"R* if you are still busy working on the multi(player) then when the hell is this game coming out, 2015?" asked a player going by the name?EpsilonismToday.

But Antonisrocknroll seemed more upbeat about what the call for input?might mean: "R* wants our feedback, that means the game is one step closer to my hands!"?
